Let your creativity shine! Join us at the Brazil Public Library to explore a variety of art materials and create an original drawing or painting for the Optimist Club Visual Arts Contest, sponsored by the Clay County Optimist Club.

All necessary supplies will be provided.

• Saturday, November 14: 10:00 a.m.–noon

This year’s theme, “Stronger Together,” invites children to show how people support one another and strengthen their communities. Bring your ideas and turn them into a work of art!

The contest is open to children ages 11 and younger, with two age categories: ages 7 and younger and ages 8–11, based on the child’s age on October 1, 2026. Entries must be handmade drawings or paintings on 8½ × 11-inch paper. Three-dimensional art, photography, digital art, and AI-generated artwork are not accepted.
