To give voters in Clay County, Indiana a chance to learn more about the candidates in the upcoming Primary Election, Brazil Public Library and The Brazil Times will hold a candidate forum on September 24 at the Library for the School Board race. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start at 5:45 p.m.

All candidates for School Board have been invited to take part.

Each candidate will have up to four minutes to introduce themselves and briefly present his or her respective qualifications and platform and will also have time for a closing statement at the end. All questions to the candidates in the middle portion will be asked by a moderator.

Barring any unforeseen technical difficulties on the day, The Brazil Times intends to live stream the event on its Facebook page for those unable to attend.

The Brazil Times is soliciting questions from readers for the moderator to ask the candidates. Submissions are requested by the end of the day on Friday, September 18.
