Organizations that serve parents and babies are coming together to host the Clay County Community Baby Shower on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00- 1:00pm. Expectant mothers and those with children under one from Clay County are invited to this FREE event.

More than 20 community organization will come together at the The Brazil Public Library to highlight the services they offer and provide giveaways, such as sleep sacks, free books and much more. We will offer free lunch, door prizes including a stroller, a pack n' play and so much more. There will be activities for older siblings to keep them entertained while expectant mothers engage with organizations. Chances and Services for Youth will also be offering car seat checks this year.

We are offering three classes during this event:
Breastfeeding Class provided by WIC
Infant CPR Class provided by the
Clay County Health Department
Safe Sleep Class Provided by Firefly
