Cemetery Walk 2025

Join us for our 2nd Cemetery Walk. Spend the evening at Cottage Hill Cemetery with the Brazil Public Library. This unique event, sponsored by the Brazil Public Library, features local actors bringing history to life by portraying individuals interred at the cemetery. As you stroll through the grounds, actors will perform compelling monologues from the perspectives of the people whose headstones they stand beside, offering a glimpse into their lives and times. Admission is free, and each guided tour lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. Drop in at any time during the event to experience this captivating journey through history. We will honor the lives & deaths of six former residents embodied by local actors.
Special thanks goes to Ashlee Vitz for writing the dialogue and organized this program.
